Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of account management experience
  • Previous marketing agency or sales experience or marketing director experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines and deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills are essential
  • Copywriting experience and proofing skills are preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Position: Media Buyer

Job Description: Giant Voices is looking to hire a Media Buyer to join our growing purchasing team. Full-time, part-time and contractor candidates are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should possess 3+ years of experience negotiating, planning and implementing media plans designed to meet client objectives and achieve optimal campaign goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute media plans designed to achieve optimal campaign parameters
  • Develop media briefs and source new opportunities. Negotiate pricing and purchase a variety of media types including traditional and digital media
  • Cultivate relationships within the media industry. Develop, update, and maintain all media lists
  • Measure and deliver optimal bidding, pacing, and performance to maximize campaign KPIs
  • Ensure creative is properly coded and trafficked for accurate tracking and performance results
  • Day-to-day monitoring, management, optimization and development of assigned campaigns
  • Closely track campaign performance and prepare analytics reports
  • Stay on top of market and industry trends
  • Develop media briefs and source new opportunities


  • 3+ years of media buying experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related-field
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Ability to learn various systems and databases quickly while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong Google Office and MS Office skills

Location: Remote or at Giant Voices headquarters in Duluth, MN.
