Position: Vendor Relations and Project Specialist

Job Description: Giant Voices is currently hiring a Media and Project Specialist to lead vendor relations and project management for the company. We are seeking a highly-detailed, computer and project management-savvy individual who can manage multiple tasks within our fast-paced marketing firm. We are looking for a Giant that is collaborative, a creative problem-solver and constant seeker of knowledge and education.

Job Purpose:There are two primary components of the role:

  1. Achieve the highest amount of reach and frequency possible with project/media budget provided by the account management team
  2. Manage project flow throughout the firm, ensuring all projects are completed on time and on-budget
High-touch communication with both the internal Giant Voices team in addition to the company’s multiple vendors is essential to success in this role.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience within project or client relationship management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines at once
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Strong inter-personal communication and writing skills are essential
  • Marketing or Communication bachelors of science or arts is preferred

Additional Detail:

  1. Achieve the highest amount of reach and frequency possible with the project/media budget provided:
    • Build relationships with the media vendors
      • This is best handled in person however meeting over the phone can work well; relationship cultivation through email is a last resort
    • Have a solid working knowledge of what key media opportunities cost and their lead-times for insertion
    • Explore new media opportunities
      • Stay informed and apprise the Giant Voices team of new media opportunities that might be a good fit for our many clients
    • Making final media buying decisions
      • Negotiate pricing, impressions and bonus schedules with media reps
      • Consult with account team as needed
    • Complete insertion and broadcast orders for each media buy – work with the account management and financial team to ensure proper mark-up and documentation is in place
  2. Manage project flow throughout the firm, ensuring all projects are completed on time and on-budget:
    • Manage project detail in Click-up, or similar project management tool that can be viewed and updated universally
    • Detail should include: client, project, budget, deadline, specs, etc.
    • Work with the account management team to prioritize projects
    • Communicate priorities on a daily and weekly basis with account and creative team
    • Request quotes from and submit purchase orders with print vendors as needed by the account team
    • Work closely with the account management and financial teams to enter all new projects and estimates into Workamajig

Location: This position is a full-time position based out of the Giant Voices office in Duluth.

Position: Staff Accountant

Job Description: Giant Voices is currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support our financial team.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payables and reconcile media invoices
  • Assist with media coop submissions
  • Prepare daily bank deposits
  • Assist current staff accountant with projects as assigned
  • Foster relationships with coworkers and vendors

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Position: Paid Media Specialist

Job Description: Giant Voices is looking for a full-time Paid Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess 1-3 years of experience setting up campaigns according to client objectives and strategic direction, plus managing and optimizing paid media campaigns based on performance. Specific required experience should include direct platform work within Google Ads (Search, YouTube, display and remarketing) and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).

Ideal Candidate: 1-3+ years of paid media experience.

  • Strong understanding of paid media requirements and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related-field
  • Direct experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, paid social and programmatic advertising
  • Ability to implement tags and scripts and set up event tracking within Google Tag Manager
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems autonomously
  • Experience with A/B and other testing modalities
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills; articulate when speaking
  • Ability to analyze data and provide data or evidence-based recommendations
  • Highly organized with an ability to always hit deadlines for assigned work
  • Highly experienced with Microsoft office products

Responsibilities:

  • Perform keyword research
  • Work with account teams to develop paid media strategies and build out campaigns
  • Campaign setup and management for paid media channels including but not limited to, paid search, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, display and retargeting
  • Execute paid media optimizations bases on performance and client goals & objectives
  • Understanding of keyword match types, negative keywords, bid adjustments, targeting options and other key campaign elements within Google Ads and other advertising platforms
  • Manage campaign budgets
  • UTM creation & implementation
  • Gaining insights from advertising platforms and Google Analytics
  • Track, report, and analyze performance data to extract key takeaways and ongoing opportunities for improvement
  • Execute and manage several paid media accounts
  • Work closely with account management team to ensure goals are met through paid media channels
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge and skillsets in existing and emerging platforms and technologies
  • Independently manage time and workload
