Giant Grows Team with the Addition of Shannon Mell as Process Manager

Giant, a strategic full-service marketing firm based in Duluth, MN, is pleased to announce the addition of Shannon Mell as Process Manager. Shannon brings extensive experience in project management and planning in complex, fast-paced creative environments.

“We’re very excited to welcome Shannon to the Giant team,” said Jena Mertz, Chief Strategy Officer and Owner at Giant. “She has  outstanding organizational skills, amazing attention to detail and a knack for developing strong internal relationships that will undoubtedly help elevate our team’s capabilities and processes.”

Shannon leverages a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a diverse background spanning marketing, e-commerce, event planning and operations management. As Process Manager, Shannon will focus on supporting Giant’s client service and creative production teams, working closely with both departments to streamline project processes, optimize workload management and ensure efficient, transparent internal communications.

Shannon graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where she majored in communication with a minor in marketing, and is a member of the Project Management Institute, where she received her PMP certification in 2025. Outside of work, she can often be found enjoying the great outdoors—skiing with her husband and daughters, hitting the pickleball courts, growing her own veggies or even nurturing her monarch butterfly garden.
