Giant Grows Account Team, Welcoming Samuel Javaherian as Account Assistant

Giant, a strategic full-service marketing and communications firm based in Duluth, MN, is pleased to announce that Samuel “Sam” Javaherian has joined the account team as an Account Assistant. Prior to Giant, Sam worked as a regulatory advisor and policy researcher for AESL Consulting.
“Sam is a great compliment to Giant and the stakeholder engagement work we’re doing with our clients,” said Jena Mertz, Giant Chief Strategy Officer and Owner. “His eagerness to learn and fresh perspective make him a great addition to our account team, and we’re happy to have his support for our clients as we continue to grow these services.”
As an Account Assistant, Sam will help streamline communications, assist with project management workflows and foster strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. He will work closely with Giant’s account executive and leadership teams to support the firm’s research and engagement operations, leveraging vast knowledge and experience with global regulatory systems and frameworks, energy policy, international development and compliance strategies to keep fast-moving projects and meetings on track.

Sam holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Oxford Brookes University, where he was involved as a member of the men’s rowing team, and a Bachelor’s in Global Studies from the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, he enjoys photography, playing guitar, rowing and spending time with his pup, Shah.
